Papaya Mum
One of Berlin's OG MVPs, Papaya, has gifted us with yet another star of a restaurant right next door to their Kanstrasse location. This project combines a Thai breafkast house with a sturdy lunch and dinner operation. All the flavors and textures of a true Thai kitchen shine here in at least 50 shades of umami. Shrimp paste fried rice, grilled chicken, pork skewers, and fried pork belly can be combined with warming bowls of soup and refreshing salads -- even chicken feet salad if you're feeling adventurous! Sausages are fermented, dipping sauces are insane, this place will climb to the top Thai experiences to be had in the city in a heartbeat. Don't miss out!
They have a pantry in the back where they sell curry pastes, thai sausages and dried fish! Cool cool!
