After months of suspense, speculation, and sadness, the team behind Hostaria del Monte Croce has announced that a successor has been found. Starting this September, Sonja Klein, the daughter of longtime Hostaria legend Edith Ardelean, will officially take over the reins of the iconic Italian eatery with all the heart, taste, and passion the place is known for. This means more long, relaxed evenings in their cosy space, more home-cooked food, more vino, and more 7-course meals.
Even better? The concept isn’t changing. They’ve been around serving authentic Italian dinners for 30 years, and you can be rest assured that that won’t be changing. The monthly changing 7-course menu begins at 7:00 PM, costs €75 per person and includes wine, water, coffee, and a digestif.
This is your sign to book that table, order the wine, and enjoy both the endless plates of food and the rare Berlin spot that’s not disappearing, not selling out, and not losing its soul.
