Viet Tonic 2

Viet Tonic 2 (not to be confused with Viet Tonic 1 in Spandau) is the Kreuzberg equivalent of Thanh Koch. Don’t be misled by their Westernized menu—the real deal is found in the Vietnamese menu, which is also translated into English (be sure to double-check the order numbers with the names due to potential translation errors). Like a true family-style dining experience, come with a big group and order a variety of exclusive dishes, such as the suckling pig with the crispiest skin Berlin has ever seen or one of the juiciest roasted ducks.

The insanely fragrant salt, pepper, and kaffir lime dip not only pairs perfectly with the fried chicken wings but also complements almost every hearty meat dish on the menu. The yellow sticky rice is another standout dish that you definitely need to order. Keep in mind that the roasted suckling pig needs to be ordered in advance, at least 1-2 days ahead.
