The first striking highlight of this restaurant is definitely the location in a prominent red building situated at the end of Park Gleisdreieck. Inside, the light of the venue gives a strong Nordic and Scandinavian vibe. This vibe is also reflected in the menu, which breathes new Nordic with a focus on regional availability of ingredients. They specialize and are talented in the use of vinegars, ferments and garums, giving the dishes a welcome brightness. You could get a seasonal tomato dish with elderberry capers, aged yellow beets with sea buckthorn and dandelion, or roe deer tatare with beef garum and currants. The dishes will depend strongly on the season and what's ripe in that moment. The drinking game is strong with a great selection of wines, both natural and classic, and especially a refreshing offering of non-alcoholic alternatives including some of the best shrubs we've had in the city. In our opinion, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Give the non-alcoholic drinks a chance! They are truly delicious and not just for those on the wagon.
