Are you a visionary hospitality pro and a true team player? Do you have passion for sustainability in food and are you able to lead a team while leaving your ego at the door?
Then the Jules team at Gleisdreieckpark is looking for you!
You will be developing food concepts for several outlets together with the management, actively take part in cooking and food production, and you will be responsible for the conception and execution of Daily Lunch Offers. You will furthermore supervise the Foodtruck concepts and caterings, be in charge of product management and controlling key figures, you will recruit, lead and train the kitchen team, supervise events and build a sustainable and effective supply chain. This is a full-time position and you will work 4 days (daytime) as an active part of your future kitchen team and 1 day at the office or visiting suppliers.
Jules B-Part is the gastronomic part of the pioneering project B-Part at Gleisdreieck in Kreuzberg, Berlin – a laboratory of the project “Urbane Mitte”, an emerging centre of life and activity. The area of 3.000m2 combines coworking spaces, an outdoor sports park, an art gallery as well as spacious rooms for events. Aside from speciality coffee, homemade cakes and daily lunch at the café, Jules B-Part provides a huge outdoor area. Right in the park, framed by the urban romance of the subway bridge you can enjoy Berlin’s most beautiful sunset with homemade pizza and draft beer. Jules is a popular outdoor location for events such as legendary Bite Club Fridays or the African Food Festival as well as private celebrations. Besides hosting guests we also provide our very own catering and event service for external events. As part of the Supersupply Berlin Family we also run Café Bravo in Mitte and Jules Geisberg in Schöneberg.
What we are looking for:
– Experience in working in a leadership role in the gastronomic sector
– Passion for sustainability in food (zero waste, circular system)
– Team Spirit (Passion for training and leading a team withouht ego)
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Somebody who wants a daytime job but is flexible to do an evening catering or weekend shift once in a while
