Syrian cuisine is as diverse as the country itself. Ingredients and dishes vary, reflecting the range of climate and landscapes, from the Mediterranean coast in the west to the deserts of the east.
zenith editor, Sam Alrefaie, is a cook by training and wants to invite you to explore the diversity of his home country by welcoming you in a small group. He’ll give you a short introduction into the history of the Syrian cuisine and culture and then get right into it. You’ll learn about the ingredients, what fits well with which spices, and get a step-by-step tutorial for every meal you prepare.
If you suffer from food intolerances, please contact us in advance. We will provide vegetarian alternatives for the meat components of the meals. Milk and wheat products will be processed, but we will try to provide alternatives if you need.
