    YOU

    • Previous high level management experience is required
    • Good level of fluency in German and English – Spanish is a plus!
    • Experience overseeing all the restaurant’s cash handling and profitability procedures meeting regular targets and margins
    • Management of team and staff rotas
    • Overseeing supplier relationships
    • Ensure all legal procedures and requirements are followed
    • Ensure all HACCP, safety and cleaning procedures are followed

    Silo Coffee GmbH consists of two different gastronomy venues –Silo Coffee & Commonground– with around 40-45 employees. We are currently looking for two Venue Managers – one at each of our locations. This is the top management position within each of the two Silo Coffee GmbH venues. Anything related to the venue, and operation within the venue, will be the responsibility of the person in this role. There is a strong support network of more junior department managers in each location, with HR and additional support from senior management/owners. This opportunity provides the chance to manage, run and improve an already established and successful venue, and in doing so expand upon your experience in hospitality or management.

For our next dinner on Sunday July 29th, we’re on the hunt for 8 waiters and 2 bar staff to join a stellar team of international gastronomy experts and assist in executing a meal of exceptional talent, taste and service.

    WE

    NEU Dinners brings some of the world’s best chefs to Berlin, pairing them with peers from the Berlin gastronomy scene to create an unrivalled evening of gastronomic storytelling in an exceptional service atmosphere that’s relaxed yet professional and fun. The first dinner in February brought the world’s best female chef, Ana Ros, to Berlin to cook alongside Cristina Bowerman (Glas Hostaria, Rome), Sebastian Frank (Horvath) and Lukas Mraz (formally Cordobar). The event was met with wide acclaim from Berlin’s guests, chefs, press and media.

    We offer 18 euros per hour, to be paid by invoice after the event.

    YOU

    • Have at least two years experience as either a waiter or bartender
    • Have experience in a fine dining setting but understand that service should be personal and playful, as well as professional
    • Are passionate about exceptional food and drink and can convey that to a guest
    • Bring existing knowledge about good wine to the evening
    • Are keen to learn and work with a team of international gastronomy experts
    • Aren’t afraid of a long evening and hard work!
    • Are fluent in both English and German
