Rachel Glassberg is a US-born writer and semi-professional eater who moved to Berlin back when a €3 döner was considered an indulgence. Since then, she’s been following and documenting the growth of the local food scene – most notably as Jane Silver, the highly opinionated restaurant critic for city magazine Exberliner. As herself, she’s written for The Takeout, Gastro Obscura, The Guardian, Frommer’s Travel Guides and more, delving into everything from the dubious legality of German Cheetos to the societal role of the Mettigel.
