“TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER”
The message on the Kino International on Karl-Marx-Allee summarizes Berlin’s current Zeitgeist. If the Corona crisis has done one thing, then it’s to unite Berliners to look out for each other. It didn’t even take a week of lockdown before my inbox started exploding with announcements and suggestions. I started losing track of all the extraordinary projects and initiatives that were launched to support restaurants and small businesses, a whole generation of young creatives and digital natives trapped at home proved to be a powerful mechanism for launching websites and platforms. It’s been heartwarming to see the how much people want to help and how strong the sense of community is in Berlin.
If you feel that your project should be on this list, please email me or send me a message on Instagram. At the same time I’m also urging everyone to communicate and help each other. It makes no sense to launch the 10th voucher platform in Berlin right now, let’s instead build one that’s really good.
