La Malo
Nice looking new neo-bistro that serves natural wines and French/Mediterranean foods on Flughafenstr.

Dr Maury
Fans of Prenzlauer Berg’s Les Valseuses restaurant will be pleased to know the crew have just opened a neighbouring wine bar, five minutes round the corner on Schönhauser Allee.

By all accounts, NaNum’s dining room is a little bit different. Owner, Jinok Kim, is a ceramist as well as passionate cook meaning you’ll be served her take on traditional Korean dishes in the restaurant’s very own ceramics. Check it out on Lindenstr.

La Mifa
Berlin’s coolest part-art, part-restaurant space is now running a regular lunch and dinner service from Monday through to Saturday with chef, Stephane Fano, combining Berlin’s creativity with French cuisine over on Storkower Str.

Hirsche & Hase
This new gastropub will soon open its doors in the old Volta space on Wedding’s Brunnenstr.

Damn, its a good time to be living in Neukölln. This new space offers natural wines and Nordic food, the latter cooked up by ex-Dottir sous chef; the legendary Dane, Filip Sondergaard.

Ava Celik (aka @badhunterstories) has been working on a recipe for the best gluten-free sourdough bread since being diagnosed with celiac disease some years back. And guess what? She’s nailed it. Her new (entirely) gluten-free bakery will open on Fasanenstr. in Autumn.

Nalu Diner
Has sadly closed! R.I.P Double Trouble egg McBluffins and bottomless coffee refills.

To the Regiment
Hands down one of Berlin’s most exciting upcoming openings, To the Regiment’s new restaurant on Schillerkiez is due sometime in Autumn.

Sourdough craft pizza will soon be a thing on Hobrechtstr thanks to Gazzo’s new joint, currently in the process of firing up its ovens.

Made in China
The owner of Akemi and RamenXRamen is opening a third location on Schönhauser Allee uniting traditional Chinese dim sum with a ’80s Chinese design kinda vibe.

Rocket and Basil
Hurrah for news that sisters Sophie & Xenia (purveyors of delicious German/Iranian cooking) have the keys to their very own restaurant space. Stay tuned for news on where and when it will be opening.

Neukölln’s beloved Damascus Konditorei is opening a second patisserie branch later this month on Müllerstr. – serving fine sweets and treats all the way from Damascus.

Food on Point
There’s a new, weekly, Berlin-based podcast brought to you by Food Entrepreneur Club‘s Stefanie Rothenhöfer and Madeline McLean. Promising to ignite international conversations about the gastronomy industry, you’ll find episodes in both English and German.

On Atelier’s magical rooftop, Bali’s Will Goldfarb came together with Berlin’s René Frank to pull off one hell of a culinary feat for NEU#2  as they served an 8 course fine-dining dessert menu in sub-tropical temperatures to a group of slightly stunned diners.
The result? An evening which far exceeded anyone’s expectations and a culinary first for Gemany. Sign up to be first in line when tickets for our next NEU Dinner go live (we’re already planning it so stay tuned!)
