    We are looking for an active, reliable and result-oriented person to manage KASCHK. The General Manager is in charge of running the business on a day to day basis, in collaboration with our Bar Manager. S/he is a perfectionist, wanting to take the bar to the next level and follow solid routines to keep the business healthy. The position will be split between 40% work in the bar and 60% managerial work.

    KASCHK is a coffee and craft beer bar situated in Mitte. It opened September 2014 and quickly became a part of the thriving craft beer scene in Berlin. The main focus is Nordic and German craft beer. In addition to this it presents the first two shuffleboards in Berlin, delivered by European Shuffleboard AS.

    • Fluent in German and English (orally and in writing)

Responsibilities include: managing reservations (OpenTable), running the floor during busy services, working on the floor as part of the small FOH team. The right applicant will be fluent in English and competent in German. S/he will be a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail, who is committed to excellence and strives to offer the very best experience to guests.

    We are a small but fun team that opened our cosy place just last November and have hit the ground running. Our teeny kitchen really pushes the limits of flavours and techniques and we are always innovating and working to improve. The FoH team collaborate on the drinks offer, so an interest in wine and cocktails would be nurtured here. We have really good staff food every day too, which can’t hurt!

    Das ORA ist seit nun mehr zwei Jahren morgens bis abends Anlaufpunkt für alle in Kreuzberg, die auf der Suche nach Gerichten und Getränken sind, die produktbezogen und qualitätsbewusst hergestellt werden. Um den immer neuen Herausforderungen und dem stetigen Wachstum unseres Betriebes mit 35 Mitarbeitern gerecht zu werden, suchen wir ab sofort eine/n Restaurantleiter/in.

    WE

    Wir haben eine hauseigene Backstube, eine Küche, die räuchert, fermentiert und pökelt und eine Bar, die vom Sloe Gin über Sirup zum Bitter vieles selber herstellt. Unsere Köche arbeiten mit regionalen, biologischen Zutaten und die Barkeeper entwickeln alle zwei Monate eine Saisonkarte. Wer in einem Betrieb arbeiten möchte, bei dem Convenienceprodukte tabu sind und das Handwerk hochgehalten wird, ist bei uns richtig.

    Stellenprofil:

    • Bindeglied zwischen Geschäftsführung und Personal
    • Ansprechpartner für Küche, Patisserie, Bar- und Servicepersonal, sowie Gäste, Lieferanten und Partner
    • Kontrolle und Optimierung der Kostenstruktur
    • Betreuung von Anfragen per Mail, Social Media und Telefon
    • Entwicklung des Angebots in Zusammenarbeit mit Küche, Patisserie, Bar und Service
    • Erarbeiten und Kontrollieren von Servicestandards und Arbeitsabläufen
    • Kontrolle von Abrechnung und Kasse, Führung des Kassenbuchs und Vorbereitung der Buchhaltung
    • Unterstützung des Personals bei Bedarf

    YOU

    • viele Jahre Erfahrung in der Gastronomie, davon einige Jahre in leitenden Positionen
    • Führungsqualität und Einfühlungsvermögen gegenüber Mitarbeitern und Gästen
    • hervorragendes Deutsch und Englisch in Wort und Schrift
    • Erfahrung in Kostenmanagement
    • hoher Selbstorganisationsgrad
    • Leidenschaft für hochwertige Lebensmittel, tolle Weine, Biere und Cocktails
    • Erfahrung mit all den kleinen Krisen und Problemen, die der Alltag in der Gastronomie mit sich bringt
