    Koshary Lux is looking for a full-time Assistant Chef (40 hrs/week; 5 days a week; afternoon/evening shifts). The duties of this role include:

    • Food preparation
    • Service (sending out dishes)
    • Manning the kitchen alone during shifts (sending out dishes and prepping food at the same time)
    • Helping the head chef in keeping track of stocks/filling out ordering lists

    At KLX – Koshary Lux, we offer street food from North Africa and the Middle East – made fast, tasty and fresh. Besides classic dishes from the cuisines of North Africa and the Middle East, we also offer our interpretations of these “classics” as well as our own creations. All our food is homemade using high quality ingredients. All animal products are sourced from controlled organic producers.

    YOU

    • Hands-on kitchen experience
    • Experience in both service and prep (Ability to send out dishes as well as preparing dishes
    • Ability to work alone (manning the kitchen alone during shifts)
    • Willing to take responsibility
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Talented with attention to detail and passionate about good food
