The leaves are turning a rusty shade of green and there is no use denying the chill in the air: Autumn’s here. And so, after a summer of epic sundowners, we shall celebrate the start of the new season with the biggest food weekend Berlin has EVER seen: Stadt Land Food and Berlin Food Week are both happening this coming weekend and between the massive offerings of cool food activities, the toughest thing you’ll have to do is choose where to actually go. Personally, I’ll be at SLF on Saturday and BFW on Sunday. And, just in case you don’t care, you can always just have a burger from my new burger list…

There’s a new planet inside the re-opened Zeiss-Grossplanetarium. Its new bistro and events is run by the three experienced restaurateurs behind BREAD & Butter restaurant. Berlin’s own Tim Raue, also managed to fly home from his restaurant project in Dubai to get on board as a consultant.

The cult-like Danish craft-beer brand will be opening up a pub on Torstrasse in mid-October.
Rumours say that the one of the Yafo founders is opening a new, Asian-inspired restaurant on Pappelalle.
